Quick post here,
Remember the photos I posted a couple weeks back for the Gnu Snowboards shoot in Breckenridge? Well one of them was published on their website. I just wanted to share the article. Here is a screen shot below and it can also be viewed on the GNU Website.
Cheers!

Gnu Flat Light Shoot at Breckenridge
First post of April!
So this weekend I went up to Breckenridge Resort to take some photos. My buddy Alex Bayer rides for Gnu Snowboards and needed a couple shots of him on his 2012 Danny Kass Pro Model board. The forecast called for a mostly sunny Friday and Saturday but you know Colorado weather. It was over cast and lightly snowing all day with very warm temperatures. Here are some of the shots that I came up with for the day. They might be posted on the Gnu blog so ill keep you updated on that. This was my first chance to use my new Canon 7D and I couldn't be more in love. Last weekend I did a lot of videoing so I'll post some edits up here soon!

Down Day
Hey,
Long time no blog post. I have had a bit of a rough sequence with the camera. I had been taking a plethora of photos with my 35mm film camera for my Photo 1 class which I grew to have a strong disliking for...no...hate for. So to say the least I needed a break from photos for a couple weeks. Then on December 5th I had the privilege of breaking my tibial plateau in my knee spinning off a rail and landing wrong which needed surgery with 5 screws connected to a large plate, an knee scope, and a cadaver skin graft to cover the incision. Crutches are not the ideal way of taking photos, hence the hiatus of photo blogging.
Anyways today I finally got to get out with my new Tamron 10-24mm 3.5/4.5f wide angle lens I recently acquired. My buddy Alex Bayer, teen sensation and star of previous blog posts, has been receiving some gear from Gnu Snowboards and needed some shots of him hitting the halfpipe at Copper Mountain Resort. However, due to the recent snowfall and winds picking up a myriad of snow into the air, the day was cut short and I ended up with only a few lifestyle shots. I guess that is how it goes sometimes being a snow sports photographer. We will have to wait for another day. Below is a snap shot of the X-Rays from my leg and the shots from today. Enjoy and the blog posts should be a more frequent thing now that I am mobile. Thanks!

Photoshoot for phriends!
Sooooooo.....
two of my buddies who I go to school with at the University of Colorado at Boulder needed some lifestyle shots to send to some of their sponsors so we set up a photo shoot here in Boulder. Alex Bayer and Joey Mensch both went to school together in Vermont and came to me with their needs. Haha we had a great time and got some good pics out of it.

Alex is trying to become a collegiate representative for Holistics which is and amazing energy drink with all natural organic ingredients. His little brother plays tennis for them and has been talking to the company.
