Long time no post!
But anyways, I was hired by Leona Brownson to shoot a painted mural that is going to be hung in a coffee shop called Clint's on main street in Breck. It was painted on 12 panels that were 8'X4'. The photos then needed to be photoshopped together and stitched together because the panels did not exactly line up.
The mural depicts the four seasons of Breckenridge changing throughout the Ten Mile Range starting with summer and ending with spring.
The panels should be installed in the coffee shop soon and I will post an update when it is finished.
I will be posting more photos soon as the hiatus of having a broken camera is now over!!

GNU Alex Bayer Photo Published
Quick post here,
Remember the photos I posted a couple weeks back for the Gnu Snowboards shoot in Breckenridge? Well one of them was published on their website. I just wanted to share the article. Here is a screen shot below and it can also be viewed on the GNU Website.
Cheers!

Kolby Ward Spring Edit
Another quick post this week!
This spring I took a couple days to meet up with my good friend Kolby Ward and test out my new camera. Kolby is a name to remember as this hard working kid is coming up in the game. He is so easy to film with because he does what ever trick on what ever feature and gives me some rider insight on what he thinks a cool shot or angle would be. Without further ado the edit is posted below. (again click the link on the video to go to the original to watch it in HD.) Also if you have an account please rate it a 10 and throw a comment on there on Newschoolers!

I have been shooting mostly video but I plan to go back to some 50/50 videos and photos coming up here soon.
Stay Tuned!

Gnu Flat Light Shoot at Breckenridge
First post of April!
So this weekend I went up to Breckenridge Resort to take some photos. My buddy Alex Bayer rides for Gnu Snowboards and needed a couple shots of him on his 2012 Danny Kass Pro Model board. The forecast called for a mostly sunny Friday and Saturday but you know Colorado weather. It was over cast and lightly snowing all day with very warm temperatures. Here are some of the shots that I came up with for the day. They might be posted on the Gnu blog so ill keep you updated on that. This was my first chance to use my new Canon 7D and I couldn't be more in love. Last weekend I did a lot of videoing so I'll post some edits up here soon!

Telemark Skier Magazine Update
Hey people,
Just a quick update here. As you have seen before I have been shooting a bit with Telemark Skier Magazine as I now work for them as a photographer, videographer, and soon to be athlete next year once my leg fully recovers. This weekend we were up shooting in Breckenridge with Alex Paul and wanted to share some shots I got. As I have mentioned before, I will only be putting B-Roll shots up on my blog and sending them to be used for web updates as I plan to make a submission to the magazine later in the year and don't want to release the images if they are to be published. You can view the web update at the Telemark Skier Mag website. I am heading down to Crested Butte this next weekend to cover a competition there so more photos are on the way.

Telemark Skier Magazine Shoot at Breckenridge
Last Wednesday I bared the -20 deg wind chills at Breckenridge to hook up with some old friends to shoot some photos in Park Lane. Josh Madsen, one of the editors of Telemark Skier Magazine, called me up to shoot some photos that they could post up on their website and social media outlets. He brought Alex Paul and Dylan Garner to get some shots on the video camera, as well as in front of my lens. Here are some of the B-Roll photos as the A grade photos I will be saving for my submission to the magazine later in the year. All blog posts from now on will be that way. If i am planning on making a submission to a specific magazine, the best photos won't be put up, but I will still post quality images up no matter what.
If you have a facebook (don't lie), you should "like" Telemark Skier Magazine or head over to their website to see the same photos and for the latest in Telemark news.
Enjoy these photos and my first skiing photos post in a long time.
